1912 Charm - "Move-in" condition

What I Saw for $979,000

I like character. This listing caught my eye. So I went to have a look.

Situated on a 41' x 66' lot and located in the Mount Pleasant area of Vancouver East, this 3 level home was originally built in 1912, according to the listing. Always fancied a 'claw-foot' tub?  This has one as part of the curved room entries and fir flooring.  Tastefully renovated.

Located a few steps away from a school, this home includes a 2 bedroom (unauthorized) secondary suite down with separate entry. The agent at the open house said expected rent would be about  $1,200/mo ($1,300/mo with laundry installed). The floor didn't feel cold on my stocking feet.

Lots of updating including, I'm told, a high efficiency furnace, updated electrical service and double-paned windows.  While the main floor and upstairs have good ceiling hieght, the suite appears to be approximately 7 feet.  Street parking only.

Definitely "move-in" condition and "ready to rent" suite.
